Andy Warhol once said “I wonder if it's possible to have a love affair that lasts forever.” I think some affairs may indeed last forever-- like the one between Marilyn and JFK. Perhaps their love didn't last. But their affair lives on: people still talk about it today, and possibly will forever.
That affair was the source of my inspiration for this 30x40 drawing. And later developed to a series of silkscreens.
